Things I should have said or done correctly!

gomi nasai (garbage please)   instead of  gomen nasai (excuse me)
kori, sori, ari (___, _____, ant)  instead of  kore, sore, are (here, there, over there)
Utsunomiya Kogyo Ko Ko  instead of  anyway I mispronounced the name of the school in my speech (to the entire school) and said Utsunomiya Factory...

I hope the rest of this stays blank, but I suspect I will continue to mispronounce and mis-say things.  I will just keep trying.

This is a picture of the flowers that are put on graves.  I took a bunch of these as a gift when I went to dinner at the assistant principals house.  Maybe my biggest faux pas so far.  Mums are the issue.   A real hat for sitting in the sun may be a better idea than wearing a handkerchief.  Later I was given an official hat.
