Things I should have said or done correctly!
| gomi nasai (garbage please) | instead of | gomen nasai (excuse me) |
| kori, sori, ari (___, _____, ant) | instead of | kore, sore, are (here, there, over there) |
| Utsunomiya Kogyo Ko Ko | instead of | anyway I mispronounced the name of the school in my speech (to the entire school) and said Utsunomiya Factory... |
|
I hope the rest of this stays blank, but I suspect I will continue to mispronounce and mis-say things. I will just keep trying. |

| This is a picture of the flowers that are put on graves. I took a bunch of these as a gift when I went to dinner at the assistant principals house. Maybe my biggest faux pas so far. Mums are the issue. | A real hat for sitting in the sun may be a better idea than wearing a handkerchief. Later I was given an official hat. | |
